Daycare
Harvest Christian Daycare and Learning Center operates as a non-profit Christian organization positively affecting our community by providing excellence in childcare services in a safe and Godly atmosphere. Our kid-friendly environment provides a quality early childhood educational experience which encourages and enables children to mature spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially.
At Harvest Christian Daycare, children are surrounded with the love of God while learning age-appropriate information in a fun, bright, happy and creative setting! Along with teaching computer skills, reading, math, writing, science, and social studies, we use bible-based curriculum to teach life lessons. This is done using creative cutting-edge techniques and fun activities including arts, crafts, music, puppets and more! Each day children participate in hands-on sensory activities that help them grasp the concepts being taught. As the children grow older, the forum changes to accommodate children's growing interests.
Our program features developmentally appropriate, theme-based learning in a caring atmosphere, enhanced by giving individualized care and attention. Being in such a caring, nurturing environment also gives each child the opportunity to develop positive self-esteem. Our various programs stimulate curiosity and teach important skills like cooperation, problem solving, following directions, and respect for others. Our program is designed to encourage children's love of learning while preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. Through the bible lessons, life skills, and educational concepts that are imparted to the children in their early childhood, we believe we are setting them up to succeed later in life. This is how we came up with our motto, "Nurturing today's soil for tomorrow's growth!"
Our classrooms are state-of-the-art, offering supplies and furnishings that were designed with young people in mind. Each room has recently been remodeled with new flooring, cabinetry, and counters. All of the classrooms have also been outfitted with learning centers and discovery areas where children are able to explore and learn. Our centers include an art center, computer center, reading / quiet area, writing center, block area, music center, domestic play area, dress-up center, as well as areas for group activities and free play.
Every one of our teachers is specifically chosen because of their dedication to meeting the developmental and educational needs of children. Each member of our staff mirror Christian character and meets or exceeds the qualifications set by state laws and completes a full orientation. In addition, teachers attend continuing education programs and Harvest Christian Daycare training workshops.

Faith Racers: 3 to 5 years
